The Warriors

Last week the warriors came to Vardon school and played some games with us. Some of them were games, yet others were to help us to learn more about rugby. The first game we played was touch. The touch game was to help us to learn how to score a try and to see who had the best side step. The other game we played was bull rush. The bull rush game was to have fun and to not get tagged. The other game was when room 12 got numbered off and then put into groups and then a adult would call out a number like four and then the fours have to run and get the ball and score a try. The groups would be named after a rugby team. Then the last game was to dance when we got a try and then pass the ball to the other person. I think that game was to help us to pass the ball and to bust our moves. After that everyone went back to class and the warriors had to leave.

  2. Hi Mrs Parkinson, My favourite part of the session was when we all played bull rush. I like playing bull rush because I like running away from the person in the middle trying not to get tagged.
